Just a quick one,
Started car up earlier and exhaust was rattling rather loudly, looked underneeth and the back box had come loose.
(This bit may not make sense but will add pictures tomorrow when its light)
One of the two poles that hold the back box up had come out of its bracket. The bracket is behind the rear bumped and is a rubber bung where the pole from the back box rests. On the pole that came out there should be a clip but it has dissappeared. Because the clip is missing the back box will keep falling out of the rubber bung.
If, by a miracle, someone understands that, do you know what that clip which fits onto the end of the back box pole is called so i can get a new one!
Cheers,
Daz

Re: Back Box Came Loose
I know what you mean but don't know the name. They aren't really important as I don't have any. The backbox will only come off if it is loose itself as it will have to slide forward or back to drop out of the rubbers. If you are really worried it wouldn't be hard to use a cable tie or something.

Thanks for your help, will probably use a cable tie, dunno why i thought of that .
The main reason for asking is because I have got to drive from B'ham to Gloucester on wednesday and dont really fancyed it popping off down the motorway.
