Iv started fitting a hawk alarm to my car, but iv not connected it to a switch live, so the alarm Re-arms when im driving it
But wheres the best place to find one? Ive mounted the unit behind the glove box, so any ideas?

the most obvious place would be the ignition switch or a switched fuse in the fuse box

use a test light between earth and the wires you are testing the bulb will only light when ignition turned on.you have then found your switched live
