corsa b has 3 parts to the handbrake, a small piece from the handbrake that goes so far under the car then the left and right cables so check all 3, also make sure the rear cable hasnt disconnected from the front cable, i once pulled my handbrake to hard and the little ball on the cable came off the little bracket it sits in (musnt have been in right to begin with lol)

let me know which peice it is when you get chance to look

well ive checked today and it appears to be the rear right cable that has snapped.(drivers side).

its deffo snapped coz the cable is touching the floor!

today i bought 2 new rear sections,i dont see the point in just replacing the faulty part i may aswell replace them both imo.

what do i need to do?

It's not too hard to replace. Replaced the cables on mine as they had siezed causing the handbrake to stick.
