Can i just by lowering springs to replace my stock ones?
I know i cant really go more than 40mm other wise it might damge my car?
Theres loads of springs sets on ebay for like £60 and stuff, just i really need help lol.

Re: Lowering
As far as I'm aware it is fine to do this, although it's only what I have been told.
I am planning on doing the same thing but obviously I want to buy the full kit once I have the dosh!

Re: Lowering
you dnt need to spend alot of mney on coilovers you simply would need a lowering kit ( spring and shocks) have a look on ebay i got mine for £70 ( full set ) although yes you can buy spring ( only 40mm id say ) with standerd shocks , but ideally you would need the upgraded shocks aswell but you can easily buy them when you next get enough money,

Also you can get clamps for your stock springs. I'm not entirely sure where you get them but my old man told me they're like a claw kinda thing and you just tighten 'em and it gives the same effects.

Re: Lowering
So you would probs just reccomend getting a full kit (springs and shocks) for 40/60mm?
And not bother just getting springs on standard shocks?

not heard of clamps that do that but i do know of some that strenthen the shocks for heavy loads. if you can find out wher you can get them put it up in general or sumat .SammyH wrote:Also you can get clamps for your stock springs. yep thats your best bet but as i said if money is a problem and you can not find any cheap full kits on ebay or werever you can get away with springs alone but i would buy upgraded shocks soon after.maximus26 wrote:So you would probs just reccomend getting a full kit (springs and shocks) for 40/60mm?
