i was doing 30 in a 40 on my test as i didnt know the speed limit and got a minor for it, so you must have done something else to fail

Re: Failed test :(
they will mark you down for going too slow just the same as if you go over the limit, i failed a test because i was still going 30 as the limit changed to national, when a bloke in a citroen overtook me on double white lines, examiner told me after the test that i should have sped up sooner and as a result of not doing so he marked it as serious.
i was totally gutted that day as it was the only thing i'd done wrong

Yeeahh i know they can, i got 3 minors on my test for going too slow lmao
But if you were only doing it for a short time, then it should only be a minor shouldnt it?

they failed me because the driver that overtook me crossed the double white lines which he said posed a danger to any other motorists that could have been travelling in our direction.

Re: Failed test :(
failed my first test for going too slow was doin 40 on a narrow country lane with a national limit
i wouldnt have minded if i was holding anyone up but there was no one behind me... anyways
2nd time i failed cus i stopped at a roundabout that was very busy sat waiting for about 5 mins so i got fed up and just gunned it and cut up a beemer.
3rd time i passed with 3 minors.

Re: Failed test :(
You can go slow...Like where I live there's loads of old lanes where the speed limits haven't been changed and there like national speed limit. You just say to the women I don't feel safe enough blah blah to do 70 so ya do 40 instead...
An before anyone says owt I aren't just been a pussy I've tried doing 70 nearly ended up in a farmers field
