Fuel Guage

Hi guys

Since i bought my car (from a trusted friend) the fuel guage has never displayed correctly, the only time it shows the corect amount of full is wheni first turn the engine on, after that it just ranges all over the place. has anyone else had this prolem?

Yes me!! its pi**ing me off ha. So when does it display the correct amount? because this would be really helpful lol

lol mine seams to only show the correct amount when i turnt he electrics on, if i start it is goes all over the place and yeah its a pain in the @r$e lol

Hmm id like to find out if anyone has had this problem and sorted it?
Whats yours like on petrol because mines shocking filled it up with £30 and had to fill it up again after 160 miles!!!

Just over £40 to fill, shes a 1.2ls on a R platenot sure how much i get outta her yet

if you can get hold of a 2nd hand fule pump try that as your float in the pump may be bolloxed
