fitting a cigarette lighter

Hi, just bought a 96 corsa 1.2 ls and want to fit a cigarette lighter in the car.
I have bought the cigarette lighter from halfords.
Having trouble fitting it though. Mainly because I dont know if there is a wiring loom in the car to fit it too.
I have taken some pictures of a connection behind the head unit close to the cigarette lighter hole, any one know if I can plug the lighter into it?

if that connector that the red and white wire is connected too has one brown and a black wire fitted to it then that is the correct plug for cig lighter

The empty socket on the right only has one brown wire going into it. Would I just need to find an earthing point myself for it to work?
