Battery Flat After Putting 6x9's in
Last night i put two Sony Xplod 6x9s in my parcel shelf and just dissconected the existing speakers from the back and wired the 6x9s in using the existing speaker wire i also have a 300w sub connected to the left speaker aswell as the 6x9 but that has been there for ages, anyway this morning tried to start my car and the battery was dead! is this due to the speakers and does any 1 no how to fix this???

ur running a sub and a 6x9 off the power for one standard speaker?e i also have a 300w sub connected to the left speaker aswell as the 6x9 but that has been there for ages,
wudnt advise it, get ur self an amp and run the sub off that.
as for the flat battery cud be 101 things. if u had the boot open the whole time u fitted them ur courstiy light cud have drained it.
or if you have been testing it with out the engine running and just the ignition on so cud that.
or it cud be any one of a thousand things, charge it up and see if it happpens again.
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
Thanks to everyone for an awsome weekend at pvs!

The Speakers are completly unrelated to your power drain.
It's classic, remember doing the same thing, cocking around with stereo systems with all the doors open and stereo on, engine off...doesn't take long to cane the battery.
