woo! finally got round to doin the roof lining in midnight black today and put back in, painted the b and c pillars gloss black and got em back in as they dried well fast in the sun out here in wales. Also got the jet black rear door cards in, new gsi rear split bench installed, washed, t-cut and wax/polished the car and back to black the bumpers and wheel arch trims. :D Feel well knackered and think i've given myself mild sun stroke cos i was out in the sun all day and barely drank any water all day so now i got a headache :(
The car is now booked and paid for thatcham cat 1 remote central locking and alarm system to be installed profesionally on friday morning and should get it back in the afternoon same day! Already got cat 2 immobiliser as standard so dont need that doin.
Startin to look the muts nuts!

and u know it matey! i finally got round to removin the simpson sticker on the rear window! been there since i got the car but neva felt the urge to remove it cos it was pimpin my ride lol. but it just looked a bit tacky and random now i done significantly more stuff. im so psyched about gett in the R.C.L and alarm system installed 2morow, but im a bit concerned the guy might knacker some the paintwork on the dash when feedin wirin into the car! might just be like "so install the hardware and i'll do the wiring lol" dont trust em not to just rip out the dash fast as possible and be like screw this guys efforts lol!

well he comin out to my old dears while im here but said he might take it away if it raining....so im just prayin to the gods that it dont rain here 2morow! and if all fails im just gonna be like "im comin with u, u drive ur van, i'll drive the corsa and we do it 2getha!" cos my only fear is that he will rip out the dash in an uncool manner to get wiring tucked neatly away

And i found a pretty decent lookin pair of bucket seats that will match the colour theme im usin. There are some green/black racing turino seats that i orignally wanted but the seller wanted $160 for the seats lol and $200 odd dollars for postage to UK.
So found these ones that are much better and are $380 inc. postage....so just wait for the pound to aprreciate in value again! Shame i cant find any green/black ones from somewhere in the UK.
Nice car man....... ive always wondered if you have bucket / racing seats in a 3 door car how do you get into the back seat of it ,or do they go forwards like the standard one's ??.

as such they're not really propa bucket seat cos they still weigh in at 28lb a piece lol. They just designed to look like bucket seats with the curled edges for extra support etc. They are known as reclining sports seats to be technical i think; they still have tilt adjustment like normal seats and collapse/break in the middle so passengers so can use rear seats. U can use standard seat belt or 4-point harness on the ones im gettin. Bomz racing manufacture them in america so postage is pretty dear, but they come in a massive range of colours! purple, green, red, blue, orange u name it they probs do it. they do solid colours, (or for example) green seats with black inserts or black seats with green inserts. I dont really care that they not really propa buckets and weigh a tonne in comparison cos im all about the styling!

the central locking has been installed today, but now i gotta decide on either the new sterling pro alarm system or laserline 212/213 alarm system whilst still using the factory immobiliser by tomorrow morning. I've got both alarm systems here but just gotta make my mind up. Basically the laserline alarm system is thatcham cat 1 and will lower insurance but doesn't include a pressure sensor and analysis unit (will have to pay £50-£60 for that to be installed at a later date if i want one in the system as the guy dont have one for this kit atm and i dont have time to stay in wales and wait for him to get one delivered) or i can get the sterling alarm whats got the pressure sensor and analysis unit with it but isnt gonna lower insurance as not recognised by thatcham.:o
wat u guys rekon? im thinkin the laserline as it better quailty (and of all reasons to make my mind, the key fobs are carbon look  ) whereas the sterling system has ugly key fobs and one less shock sensor!

i managed to take the pics and then use the satnav as a SD card reader to get the pics from the camera onto the laptop! whoo! clever me with the workaround as i aint got a sd reader on my laptop :( usually have to use my mates laptop... it taken quite a while to upload em to photobucket though today so will have em up in the next hour! was gonna add a vid of the central locking etc...but cant really be assed now. U'll just have to come see it at PVS :D
