and now because its ran out of MOT and TAX i have bought it off the road and have started to strip it down to the chassis ready for the gearbox change, but before i can do that i need to cut off and re-weld the engine mounts an inch or two inch further forward for space for the gear stick inside. and at the same time im going to convert my new coil sprung axles to fit onto my leaf springs which involves cutting everything of the axles and making / manufacturing some new leaf spring saddles, then plumb the brake lines all back up again. and make everything fit in the engine bay again. also i do happen to still have that mahoosive intercooler that i bought for my C20LET that i might see if i can fit :lol: 8) but i thought i might aswell re-vise this project thread for my use more than anything :) plus it might be of some interest to you.

welded new engine mounts on 2.5 inches further forward so i can fit my new gearbox in :)

tack welded power steering in place incase when i put the front axle on it needs to move slightly im not sure. needs alot more bracing yet tho
