Well i made it to newcastle airport, half an hour doing 50-70 mph and no problems. Lets hope i get home the same lol

Bloke asked for 208 quid to fix his van. Cant see how its that much but im not going to complain. He could have went through insurance an that would have cost me more in long run

Also got home safely so all is good :D no overheating and no steam :D lets hope it holds till i can afford a new rad

This is my 6th month driving and i already pay 2.5k insurance per year. Hate to think what it would have been if it went through

208 if he is getting the door sorted by a bodyshop is a decent price and take that most garages charge between 35 to 55 an hour in labour and as you said your premium would propably go up by more than that for next couple of years
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

Yeah and they know they have got you lol i had to pay 100 for a back light once lol couldnt agrue as didnt want to involve insurance :lol:

Wish the guy I crashed into was like that. He took it to insurance, not to bad as my premium still dropped £600 at renewal :)

Same here the woman i hit a few years ago claimed for her three scratches on her bumper a claimed for whip lash and won. The worst of it was she hesitated at the junction and a hit her a 5 miles a hour such a nice woman lol

Because he was being so understanding / nice about it i even offered to help him fix it but he said he will sort it himself so all is good :)

Made a good job on the bonnet mate obv not perfect but thats why bodyshops charge so much :lol:
