i just think induction kits were made to feed more air into ur engine so its running more air than petrol and will be much leener which will O_o ur engine eventually and cost u a hell of a lot on juice, personally im going for the viper kit sraight out from a hole im makin at bottom of bumper which will be sprayed and smoothed or my front debadged grill, gd luck on the airbox thing even thought its pointless mate

im going for K&n Full induction
then going for a 1.6 pump lol
so it will match petrol and air

It should match petrol and air without the 1.6 pump mate as the ECU should read the sensor that there is more air entering when accelerating and the ECU will feed more fuel to match.

i just got a maxpower filter on my 1.4 8v sri and it sounds goooooooodddd but i carnt hear it hardly as i got a full pipe from mainfold 2 the back box and thas a 6x9 scopen box and it sounds goood, will get a vid up on youtube soon of her

Nahhh i don't have a clue with a drill

Why dont you drill a few holes in your exhaust as well, might make a bit more noise! (rolled eyes)
To me, a proper induction kit is purely for performance, and the noise produced is just a bi-product of a decent induction system.
But as they say, each to their own

yeh the whole idea of induction kits is supposed to be for performance.mine sounds lovely with the back box
