Drivers side. Near the bottom. 2 or 3 pin plug

Take out the switch at the bottom of the rad....... drivers side .....this will drain your coolant/water....get a new one from scrappy ...well i got mine from vauxhall for £25 ...so you dont need that lol ...al lyou do is screw it back in and refill your coolant!!!!

i hate draining radiators and coolant system.. coolant= nasty.
had to do my mates golf for him... horrible.

yeah mate ... well 1 thing .. it stinks and second .. you have to dispose of it properly aswell
lol !!! not nice stuff rele!!!
there is a connector plugged into it ... unplug it .. ists a nut bascily with a connector on one side
its a bi-metallic switch .. when it gets hot the metal; strip melts and makes the contact for the fan .. dont ya know lol:)

It's an old motor, it does overheat a little in traffic. Mine does, I think it's a common occurence but your fan should regulate the temp well.
