Hi Octane,
Went out this morning and disconnected the car wiring terminals from battery.
Sprayed them heavily with WD40 to get rid of all the gunk around, and cleaned everything. One thing i did notice was that one of the negative cables was loose where we undid the terminals yesterday to jump start when we picked her up.
Titghtened everything back up this morning and gave it a shot. Put the car terminals on a set of jump leads and connected to new Halfrauds battery (which is now probably flat). Power everywhere and it wasnt flickering on and off. This time it started to turn over, and died, BUT you could turn the ignition key back to 0 and try again which is better than yesterday.
THe car is now on charge with an 1800cc battery charger i bought today, so leaving it a few hours and then going to try and start her up
