this is my son's corsa, were not sure on the lowering, wanted to lower it by 30mm but when we had a "full" car noticed there wasn't much wheelarch space, probably not helped by the wheel offset being 40,what do you guys reckon, would the 30mm be stiff enough to prevent the tyres rubbing, don't want to do something we regret
thanks

Ohh, nice project mate, i'm gunna enjoy this one
machineandsoul :: create your own thread about your problems hahaha... But I guess if you lower it you would need stiffer suspension to stop, when having a full load, from rubbing on the arches. Maybe someone more experienced could confirm this.
Ta, Mike.

30mm should be fine...just not sure bout the shocks tbh. Hottunnning do a full coilover kit for £209 for us members. the kit is fully height adjustable from 20mm to 110mm i believe! they look to be good quailty aswell and aslong as ur son doesnt go racing round and hittin speed bumps 20+mph with a car full of mates they should more than do the job! bu depends on if u wanna spend that kind of money. i know most people just buy the springs for like £50 -£60 and keep the standard shocks....but as it ur son, GO ON!! treat him! Easter present for the next forever lol...he only gonna get one cream egg each year from now on out
