Hi. Iv just got a red inertia light. Well saying i got it is wrong, I made it lol. I just got the old one and got red permanent marker and coloured it in. It works just fine. Its not as bright as the LED ones but as I say I don't have any money at the moment.

And here it is in (not a very good photo)

I got some Kenwood speakers for the back also (ebay to be cheap). Im not putting them in the parcel shelf cos I think its a bit chavy doing that so they will just go in where the old ones came from.

Speakers are in. Sounds so much better. No point in a photo cos you cant see them behind the grill in the parcel shelf. I took out the lights behind the clock display to try and make them red but when I put them back in they blew so iv ordered some red ones from ebay. Ill get them in next week. Here are some photos of taking the dash apart. Its really easy.

Once these are unscrewed just pull the from bit out and the top will lift off

Sorry I dont have a clue about different styles of dashes.

For putting in a different speedo n rev counter its so simple. the worst bit is getting the plastic behind the steering wheel off. For wiring in the dash you dont need to. All corsa's have the same wiring. That goes for speakers and lights and everything (they did it to standardise everything). So all you have to do is pull out the old one and in with the new one. There are 5 screws for the bit behind the steering wheel. 3 for the bit over the top of the dials and 2 holding the dials in. Just take them all out and fiddle until it comes apart. you wont break it.

For choosing the rev counter to put in make sure the one you are getting came from a car with the same amount of cylinders as yours has. Cos the 1.0 has only 3 cylinders if u put in a rev counter from a 1.4 or something it will show that it is over revving.

To get the milage back to what your car had is easy to. A little fidley but not to bad. There are 3 or 4 screws at the back of the speedo. Just take them out and take off the wire connector (will make sense if you do it) then pop out the bit at the tp on the back and change the numbers to what you need.

Do you want some pics of things? I still have my old one that I could take pics of

yeh that would be good mate.

didnt realise it was that easy lol..i thought u had to wire the rev counter up to the engine etc like u do with after market ones.

thats something else to add to my list of things to get from scrappy lol

Ill get them 2moro or sometime. To tired jst now. I was £15 for it. It did have a scratch in the lense but I just used a polishing compound to get it out. Really makes your dash look better
