OK guys, got a pic of it fitted correctly. Havn't got a hole in my bodywork to fit it 100% correctly (I believe it's a ramair style one) but I will definitely go to a bodywork specialist and enquire about the costs of getting it done..

anyway, pic of it fitted correctly (although somewhat bodged :D)

Sounds it. :P Meh, it'd look better if "universal fit", meant "universal" so I didn't have to make an air-tight seal with gaffa tape. :(

Oh well, going to see a bodywork spec' to make me a hole in the car so I can hear it roar. :D

sure i cant find some way of makin a hole or havin it comin out of your grill? and id keep an eye on that tape..cud melt if engine gets bit hot..my induction kit has special heat resistant tape on.

Yeah I know that the tape could melt & f**k up but it's sure not to. It's not near any hot components. I want a hole at the front of the car so the faster I drive, the more air is forced in. But I might look at having it behind the grill.

ps: we sound like noobs, lol. Putting tape on our induction kits :( (i am a noob).

ah, ok.
The induction kit I bought is too big for my cold air feed pipe, hence the gaffa to keep it airtight.
Really want a hole in the bodywork to put the pipe (it has casing to keep it strong & secure, not just that flexipipe (lol). Cus atm, unless the bonnet is open so it's getting a really good cold air feed it sounds wank considering how much I paid. I know it's a 1.2 and it's not gonna sound like a ferrari but I'm dissapointed. lol

ps: can't really squeeze the pipe anywhere behind the grill due to hot components/radiator/fan, can I? I can't see anywhere.

Yeah, there's a hole there, but it's not getting any cold air from there is it? I may as well of left my original air filter in? lol.

Your backbox/exhaust sounds a lot better than filter. What is it? Nice vid.

id go for a Ktec Racing

Image

admitadly not cheap and its a renault part but that said could get some hoses and make it fit,

Image

and mount it behind the radiator grille or behind the rear bumper

Image

should be nice and loud and would work the best i reccon give it a go :)
im sure if you mount it behind the bumper you bolt it on a bracket fixed to the front,
(obviosly dont forget you will need a filter in there somewhere!)

anyone got any ideas on where I can put the pipe to increase air flow/noise? Obviously havn't got a hole in bodywork yet to fit it properly :(
