haha yeah mate should look atlot better apart from the intrior its just little stupid things like the handle for bonnet catch that needs fitting back as you will of seen in the pics its just hanging around on the floor lol,new motor for the washer bottle,fag lighter,it needed some new clips for the sun visors,abit of rewireing here n there.should look alot better by tonite ill take some pics when i get down the garage to show my progress not much to see tho aparts from a bare inside and a garage full of parts :lol: :D

at least u got a garage to put it all in mate. i have to keep takin bits into the house to work on em in the living room, my bedroom or the back concrete coutyard bit. really annoying doin it all from the side of the road :lol: Im gonna see that adam lad today/tonight hopefully so will let ya know what condidtion them bits are in and get a full list of what he got, assuming i meet him at his gaf and can see all the bits.

so did you get the lights an wheels then jarjar?

iv not done much else to mine apart from fit a crome gaitor surround,clear side reapeters,full black sport interior,sports spoiler,new icv,new manifold gasget,eco pipe,and afew other little bits on the engine,im stuck with it now cos its idleing at just under 2k and so i carnt use the car untill its sorted iv spent like 3 days now trying loads of diffrent things to sort it but had no luck iv got another bloke gonna have alook at it for me 2mo,untill i findout whats wrong with it and how much its gonna cost to fix it i carnt go spending money on other things :lol: iv had loads of peeps take alook at it and none of them have a clue an its got me stoomed to iv tried all i can think of now so im lost :(

rang that lad a few times to try and sort sumin out but he was just fookin round in the end and i neva ended up meetin him. i've just painted new heater console and put it in and destripped the rub strips and little work on minor bit of paint chips and rust that i've found on lower wheel archs when givin it a wipe clean lol. need to spend more time on uni stuff for the next week or two. Im goin home for a week in about two weeks and gettin central lockin, electric windows and new alarm system fitted and will do oil change etc and maybe try to finish off the interior. might be pushin my luck for a week there though. cos i probs wont have it for a day or two while the alarm is being fitted.

good stuff mate iv got an alarm on the car but the guy had lost the key :o so iv had to get a new one,best thing you can buy is good alarm :D
your car looks alrite but you really need some alloys lol would make it look 100times better 8) hope i can get mine sorted 2day then i can use it :lol:

i will get alloys eventually, but wanna do other things first. the outside can wait for a bit still intil i find some alloys i like for an alright price.

just a quick update, 2day im well happy :D cos for more than aweek of messing around back n forth to loads of diffrent garages and diagnostics ect new parts and hrs of head scratching :lol: iv finally got my engine running spot on they had done all the wiring to cock an it was idling high so iv had to try work out why my icv wasent getting its signal from the ecu plus afew other litlle things iv managed to get all the wiring right and get evrything working as it should. so now i can consentrate on doing other things and buy some nice goodies for it and and get it looking smart n tidy 8)

lookin very very nice!!! did u cut the grill out? coz its def a good idea...look at how i meshed mine..looks the tits bud lol..and its cheap.or r u gettin gsi bumper o new shape bumper?

im def gonna have to get one of them chrome gaiter surrounds...lol likin the state of the tray full of bits n bats haha..mine jus has a lighter n sunglasses..coz my switches r mounted in the tray thing lol

yeah im getting a gsi front bumper i was toying with the idear of custermizing my curent one but im not sure lol and i cut the grillout cos when i bought the car the bonnet catch was knackerd and i couldnt get into the release catch so i got peed off :lol: and cut it out still mite custom this bumper just depends what i buy first an how much cash i have after lol

and the tray full ov bolts screws n whatever else lol is all from when i was fitting the interior there all spairs :D

have a look at my project log mate and see what i did to my grill..im also gonna mesh the bottom grill bit...and when i colour code the bumper im gonna fill in the gaps left from the old grill..so will look nuts...much better than gsi one in my opinion and all custom :)

are ur lights the same as mine jus smoked? lol

yeah dan thats what i was planning todo with my front bumper lol an maybe fit some custom spots init like the gsi with my cold air feed,iv got all the stuff todo it i just havent decided what todo :lol: if you hadent noticed iv got my cooler at the bottom of my front bumper aswell so i need air to that aswell

as for the rear lights i havent even looked :lol: there just tinted with tinting spray i think there the clear white ones :meh:

i think u should do it..will be alot happier with it coz uv done it all urself..thats what its about for me..looking how nice it looks and knowing it was all my own work :)

yeh iv got the clear white ones...pretty sure thats wot urs r just tinted.
