big hammer lol, just rive it out it shudnt be to hard, but i've never done it with the standard stereo so wudnt really no....

The cage is held in with a bolt at the rear, you will need a long reach socket. You will then need to unclip the standard connectors to the rear of the cage as they are clipped into the cage. The cage should then drop out. Drop the new one in, bend the prongs to secure it, when doing mine i had to do quite a few to get a snug fit. Connect the wires up, ensuring that you have left enough room round the back for the harness adaptor as this jams when pushing the head unit back. I needed to take the bottom ash tray off to get round the back and have a jiggle to get it to fit properly, not a problem though, only two screws. Makes the job alot easier. You may also need an aerial adaptor as the cars connector is different to that of the headunit.

What does putting the red to the yellow and the yellow to the red do?
& mine came like that aswel, what did you do in the end to get them apart, i thought about cutting them aswel.

determines if it can be turned on without the ignition on and also saves your radio stations

im not sure i dnt no if it works for cd's or not but im guesin if it saves the radio stations it do same for cd
