haha sorry rems i noticed the "grim reaper" thread that engine cover is awsome !
As it is im on migweb and allcorsa with the same thread title as on here so i litrally dragged the thread over.
Looks of the car im keeping it very suttle ... thinking steiny grill to match my corsa c ... not sure about lights yet but probs smoked lights ... keep the zaust as quiet as i can tbh but with a nice backbox lowered ... and thinking some imry alloys to give me the break clearance i need for 288mm disks i was guna keep the corsa sport alloys i have on but there only just clearning the original breaks haha
Im not going into too much detail over the car yet as want to keep it fairly hush hush for now as got a few plans that i want to add to try make it unique

Hello everyone,
Time for a little update.
The car is getting transported to my work on friday morning on a flat bed ... this gives me more room to work out of the weather as it seems to be all over the show atm.
On friday i will be getting the old engine out as its all ready to come out now just cant get the time during the week to get it out. I will be getting the bay preped and getting the new engine fixed into the bay ( fingers crossed ).
Also got a little deleivery today ( at long last ) :
With breather hose attached to engine to see how its going to look :
You may notice i have also fitted my cool running theremostat ( left of engine )
And some snaps of the rest of the hoses in the kits :
Also got all my conversion bits together now apart from my inner CV joints which i will get on order in morning to get them for friday its a big box of bits and a tall order to get them fitted by sunday :S haha :
Another small update is i also got my magnetic sump plug to try and get any metal fibres out of the engine while its running, and filled my engine with oil and ...... NO LEAKS !!!! wooop wooop
More updates over the next few days guys

Boxes of new clips for all the hoses
New clips fitted and excess cut off to make things neat
Rear of engine coolent hoses clipped up just need to cut excess off again.
Am currently in the process of cleaning up the inlet manifold and getting it back together to refit to the engine so there will be pics of that this afternoon

Ok guys wee update but should get more done later this afternoon.
Basically with having the old corsa loom in the engine bay, i have pulled back all the cables into the drivers footwell that i either dont need or to reroute them in the car to make life easier and the engine bay neater as i am trying to get it as neat as i can.
This is now what my drivers footwell looks like :
As you can see ... not a pretty sight and a fair bit of work ahead for me
I took the wires that go to the charging and starting loom, fed them through the back of the dashboard to a nice little gromit located in the passengers footwell, i passed the cables through this and resoldered and connected the plug back up. This means the cables are now sat just under the battery tray ... which is nice as the starter motor is there also anyway here is what i am talking about :
Once i have connected all the starting/charging loom back up i will pull and extra cable back into the car to tuck nicly away behind the dashboard
Here is how the car is looking atm ... with my corsa c being cheaky and trying to get into the shot :
And a few of the bay how it stands ... still looking very messy but the next few days should see it looking tidy again :
Thats it for now should have more later today

hi, when you go to wire up your engine loom as you have exactly the same engine as me without the dizzy could you take photos and write some information about the which wires you have done please. as not only me but others aswell would love to know, as no-one has done a specific one, hard to explain but yea if you could that'd be awesome
