i have seen these manifolds and plan to get one for my 1800 XE
Dblias do an inlet manifold that gives a claimed 22ps increase. That on a 1.6 would put it up there with the red top wouldn\'t it

j1400: Where can you get a 2 litre conversion for £800. I couldn\'t do it myself cos im crap with stuff like that. Let me know though cos for £800 i\'ll get it done next week!
I\'d like a 2 litre and see what you mean bout the difference between the two.

I meant in parts. you\'ll be looking at the sharp end of 1500 for a conv.

oh yeah thats true, i noticed that straight away as well, i oftan pull away in 2nd
cos im in 1st for like a second and then the wheels are spinning!

my 1.4 8v wont even beat 1.1\'s
it is totally standard tho and a little bit fecked. its never a good thing when you can hear the rattle from inside the car is it?

oh yeah simon, we have to race
well i will definatley have to go for a 2.0l
i can get it done as cheap as possible, only paying for the bits i need but it means me not having my car for at least 2 weeks

Why oh why is it everyone on here seems to know some mechanic who do the work for free
For me it be a grand for the engine then about 750 labour!
