UPDATE!!!!!!!!!! -- Yes, i am back.... (blame the college studies for my long hiatus, but hey i'm no longer going to college. So I am taking a gap year before "deciding" to go to university or not ).... So yes i've resumed this little project , here's the changes so far.

//. This came through the post today yay :P
(Thanks to http://forums.corsa-b.co.uk/viewtopic.p ... 3&start=45 (@stevethegreat91) for the inspiration - yes he's got a hot car too :) )
Image

First the old arch cover is gone (...good riddance! :meh: )
Image

Yes, yes, yes, I hate the weather (it was sunny , then it suddenly changed! :meh: ). I was stuck doing the arch covers inside while the rain calms down
Image

Here's the final result.
Image

And the with the alloy wheel on (...yes i took it while it was still raining, sorry about the quality)
Image

I've only done the back arches , because i ran out of fibre film .... So i will do the front ones next week.

Meanwhile , i had some left-overs of fibre . This happend....

Final result....

I know i love chrome, since that stuff pleases the eyes .... so i did a little project involving a few pre-cut strips.... I mainly did the vents...

(On the vents ^^, i did a line and skipped the next line , for styling purposes. I wasnt going to fill every line with chrome as thats too much haha )

Since the car is red... I got rid of my orange pioneer speakers (...orange? what was i thinking haha). So i bought these red ones instead, since they are "sony" the sound quality has been very crystal clear :).

I got rid of the ugly 1996 front-bumper design. I got the newer ones (1999), overal the car looks better.

You might notice i had 17inch alloys but they were too troublesome and too fat to fit inside the arches (when going on humps etc). I used stock wheels for a while.
Then months later (last month in fact) i got some nice alloys which are 14inch as that seems to be an ideal size..... (I still need to get thinner tyres though :?. Right now it's 185/65/R14, so i need to get something like 185/45/R14).
Here's how the whole car looks now with the alloys.

Side note: I know it needs to be lowered , i wanna do it so badly but christ the springs and shocks cost soooooo much! :o (LOL) ... I wanted to buy 60mm springs and use my standard shocks , but i have heard that it will damage the shocks after a few runs ,so i guess its best i buy the whole custom set :( ...

Anyways, due to the weather. That's all i've done today :) .

Comments and critics welcome 8)

trust me grey interior on a red car ? it really makes no sense lol .... So yes im in the process of getting rid of the greys , whats left inside is the grey pillars , the grey seatbelt anchor and that grey material above your head (forgot the name haha....) (PS. which black plastics do you mean by the way ?)

I will see what can be done from next week, i think this week i will focus on the other smaller bits , so i will update as usual.

I will check out the FK's as you suggested, I could get the look yes ( anything from 60-80mm is good) as long as the ride still feels good :)

Oh great idea! :D I will most likely to paint them those bits of plastic which run along the chair and the door entrance. The door pockets where hard to find for me mainly because most of them are still grey .... So instead i sprayed them sapphire-red which is the body's color. I think it needs a re-spray due to scratches haha.

Not much has happend today but i have managed to finish a few things from the previous day.

Since I had some little bit of fibre left, i decided to do something to the door handles.

Current state. (yes its a horrible grey plastic color)

..... And It's out

Final result...

The old amplifer and the sub weren't doing it for me , so i needed something more powerful than that , since i'm a mad music lover
The new set up is . 2 amplifiers (sub box = 1,000 watts, black amp = 1,500 watts , the silver/blue amp is 300watts which is used for the shelf speakers.)
Image
(I might re-do the set up again to 2 subs/ 3 amps inthe near future)

I've finished off with the mini vents located near the mirror joystick ... basically it was a little touch of chrome :p
Image

....And for the back vents (opposite each side of the shelf.

....More updates will follow soon
