just thought i'd say, but if your running of your standard head unit then you shouldn't run your rear speakers in parallel, run them individually it'l be better,

Right you mean you 6x9"s is pure base? thats because you only have one amp ..

see because your settings are for your sub when you connect anything thats not a sub to it it trys to act like one ( so base levels are high when they cant take it) if you get a seprate amp for yor 6x9's and wire it up not onyl will the 6x9's sound better you can run one left and one right off it which will save you needing to change them so much look on gumtree (my car is made up of bargins ;) ) you could get a wee 2nd hand amp for buttons its just the wiring up is the boring part!

also invest in a switch for your control wire that runs to your sub nothing worse than listening to radio 1 and there all talking with base pumping and its not needed wee switch up in dash means 1. you can turn off 2. gives you an exucse to use a plane kill switch ( which i think look sweet :L ) (thats my storey) :D

Soooo i decided to spray my center console and dash surrounding, got everything i needed wet and dry paper, primer and spray paint, done everything right,

rubbed down, primed waited to dry and primed 2nd time round, dryed then started to spray! and god wht a disaster have a look!!
Image
The primer went on a treat no problems, but the red spray paint, just went patchy in places and started to streak !!!
Image

i rang my mate who has done spraying b4, and asked him wht the hell is happing and why!! i then round out its cus you need to clean the plastic with pannel wipe tht basically takes away any polish thats ever been on them and cleans it and makes it basically like new, then u rub down prime and paint!

So am now currently driving round with my inside like this,,.

Image

Prittty anoying so now gotta go scrappy 2mora and get a new center console and dash surround! then start all over again and do it right!!

PLEASE people learn from my mistakes lol i no i have... will have pics of new finished result in couple days!

nahh you should be able to use yours again, just make sure you really sand it  and what primer are you using? is it plastic primer? as this eats it way into the plastic trim and makes a better 'primer' for plastic obviously  then give the primer a light wet and dry, then spray your top coat but you have to do thin coats otherwise it will run!! but your trim should be salvageable, at the end of the day its only paint, its not like its liquid metal

Well after my second attempt and finding out whats really wrong..... i didnt use "pannel wipes" that get rid of any grease or polish thts on the plastic, apparently a rub down with water just doesnt hack it!
Image
Got new paint, lacquar and primer!

And now the finally finish in place!

and
