how the f**k did you get it that cheap
![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
be careful with every single detail you enter we used my brothers no claims discount co-op said it was fine that he was using it on another policy so i paid the £1130 straight up 2 months down the line still not got insurance documents through but the car was insured as i taxed it phoned them to see were docs were they then said i had to pay another £1300 as the no claims was being used on another policy and also they tried saying that the vehicle was not registered at any address thats why it wasnt sorted sooner which is impossible as you cant complete the quote online without entering a valid address f**k cowboys but yeah be very careful

put ur uncle as the second driver, then its still your policy and everything is in your name and wont have any problems if pulled or anything like that

Failed M.O.T the other day, my handbrake cable rear nearside and offside cable is frayed??? i tightened my handbrake up just before i went to the M.O.T centre and i didn't notice anything wrong lol, shows what i know... How much is it to replace the cables and is it easily done or should i just pay to get it fixed? I got a quote for £60 and thought that was expensive for all that it is.

i got mine for about 13 pound for both of them from dingbro when i worked in the garage. and i done them myself was peice of piss. but where the cable goes through the back plate theres a wee clip/plate it always breaks on everyone ive done lol. but you can either get a new one for each side before or try make something up.

have to watch what your doing with it though as its tricky at bits. give yourself plenty time and greese the slide bit where the cable goes through on each side of the axle as thats were they get frayed at. and mind the split pins for the drums etc.
