I have installed the NGK spark plugs that I asked whether were compatible in the original message. All is good. I drove 10 miles after installing and checked tightness. They needed a little more tightening, maybe I was too cautious to begin with or maybe they vibrated a bit but I re tightened them and all is good. Cheap £15 preventative maintenance regime. Cheers for the replies.
