Well thanks for the offer.
Can someone show where are the vacuum pipes located?

The one that caused mine to idle pig rough was a real thin red pipe going from the side of the airbox to just above the throttle body at the back. There was a little tear in it so i just put abit of tape around it.

It is now idling so low that it's a wonder that the engine can keep going. I am going to change the MAF sensor at the weekend and failing that, I will have a look at the EGR valve.

I disconnected the EGR valve and that did not make any difference to the idling. Not sure if it should have?
And I noticed a connector is not connected. It may be meant to be like this, but can anyone please identify it, and where it should be connected. I can't see anywhere obvious.
Sorry, I can't upload the file. How can I upload an image?

You have to upload it to an image host site.like photobucket and then copy the [IMG] link over

I am also wondering if there is any adjustment on the idle speed? It seems that just a bit more rev would do - is there any provision for this?

I'm having the exact same problem in my Corsa B 1.4 8v, just changed over the throttle body as old was one corroded, ran fine for a few days then started doing what this guys is doing, I left the Idle control valve on that it came with, I've just about had enough of the problems with this vehicle, EML is intermittent, AA cannot read the code as its too old a vehicle so I have to take it to a specialist, cba spending loads of money on it to repair it, hope its something simple, idle around 1.5k-2k and jumpy when not on accelerator any idea what this could be ?

There was a guy on corsa sport with that problem and he said changing the rocker gasket sorted it but I'd lean more towards air flow meter first
