clonking noise

I did have pics, can\'t find them. No biggie just look under the car - it\'s at the very front most part of your bodywork where the tie bar brackets mount.
3 bolts on each bracket (bracked is in a U shape) with the tie bar going through the middle with a nut on the end.
i hv the same problems

hiya i have a clonking noise and a whinning noise and my mechanic has said that the whinning noise is a ball bearing in my clutch which makes a noise all the time especially louder when first starting off and the clonking noise is comin from my passenger side and is said to be the cv joint.

yeha well i dunt hv any money my alternaters just burnt out so i fink thats more of a problem that the clutch and the cv joint which has a bit of life still in them

Well, Ive just found out the whinning noise is cambelt tennsior. Now booked in to have cambelt/tennsior/bearings changed, wlist hes doin that, I\'ll ask to check that clonking noise.

ok thank ya well im nt being horrible bt at the mo i fink corsa are crap but thats only cos mines bin in the garage for ages and my opionion on them isnt that hot bt i love mine really bt its taking so bluddy long

You go thru periods of paying money and then stages where you don\'t
as cars get older more bits are worn etc
mines currently in for new wheel bearings
not good weeks before going in body shop for a make over!
