and simon im really sorry hun i had kinda the same problem in my old car the battery kept going dead and my immobiliser light didnt flash, i think it was the alternator, but the problem resolved itself

auto cos mine is fudged

[/quote]yup thats the thing, i got it from nettos (lidl) i\'ve only had to use it a few times but its good to know that when i forget to turn lights off i can start my car the next day
