No No there is a place near me called top gear and for about £550 they are going to do me a box with limited slip at the diff and really short gears but will only go to about 110mph but it will get to that speed so fast am kinda hoping i can keep up with subarus and what ever else gets in my way lol well up to 110mph anyway after that am stuck but i am wonting to drag it so a short ratio box will do the job i think!!

. wrote: 110?! is that it?1 it\'ll effect your 1/4 mile times! was watching a vid last night of a corsa which did the quater mile is 9 seconds flat at 147mph!!!

the loom for the 1.8 isn\'t very hard to use... main problem with the 1.8 is the air flow metre!
i didnt know the 1.8 8v single point injections had air flow they are out of a mk 3 cavaleir.

would someone give me a run down on the gearbox\'s for corsa and what will go with what,

I didn\'t use any lube at all but all the bolts i will be replacing with new ones it has cost me about £30 pound for all the bolts on the engine by it\'s self they are all stainless steel allen key so wont rust!! But i found taking the engine out really easy when i had everything off the engine and ready to drop i put a jack under the sump lowerd it down then dropped the engine on the deck rolled it forward and pulled it out and dragged it in to my cella but took the gear box of first all the oil was still in the engine sorted that out when i got the engine in my cella i had the engine striped and ready for sending the block off to get it rebord in about an hour but there where me and my bro working on it alot fast 4 hands are better than 2.
