i dnt think the exhaust will mate, as the 1.4 has a larger bore than the 1.0 exhaust system

you could make a pipe up yourself, but you have to get all the bends right so it dont catch on the floor pan, or rear axle

my one litre afm went before i went and pu a k'n'n on it then wen i put it on it blew again, what happens is with the induction kit it takes in to much air, the chucks some back out and scrambles the afm chip, this is what i was told which sounds about right, also my cntre silencer is rattling like a bitch, so im thinkin of doin a straight through one from an old piece of one litre exhausts from ma local vauxhall scrappers allvox, cos i dont wanna spend on a new exhaust if im gettin a new engine for it, also blue smoke has started to develop n a morning when i start it up from cold, so my engine is well on its way out, so engine transplants is a must soon.

its not certain to pass the MOT, on emmissions yes, but on noise no, on my gsi i got a straight through put it in for MOT at the beginning of the year and 1 of the things it failed on was the noise that was comin from the exhaust, if it is below 100Db im sure it will b fine
