Bottom cam belt pulley woodruff key sheared off so crank kept turning without the valves :/ so broke everything in the head, cams are ok tho going to drop it by a head builders in Telford after work this afternoon see if they'll rebuild it for me with new guides and valves

fingers crossed they can, such a shame with with this as it just got built and was ready for action. i hate it when you keep running into snags/problems when doing a project like yours or mine. ive had a few times where ive thought to myself, move on to something else but i just cant as the end reward is so much more promsing when doing it like we have

yea go for it, he can have them. and im f**k pissed off, feel like breaking my corsa and having a break from modifying cars and scrapping my land rover and buying one aswell...

my cylinder head is just a square block of scrap aluminium now anyway due to it needing £280 worth of repair work the port and polish only cost me £250! and my pistons look F*cked and i just cba with it at the moment its doing my tree in!

I said tht jamie! Lol but he is right in saying all the carb set up and cams would be time wasted :/ hope all gets sorted! U hould run the let in the boot and all wheel drive it!! Lol

lol well iv had a re-think and if i got another head of a mate for £45 that would need to be worked so thats £250 then might need guides etc so thats £100 so might aswell get this head repaired, and scrape all the bits off the pistons and clean them up, its expensive but its got to be done, and jamie you can have my allcorsa tickets if you want as i cant have them any more as im not going.

saxo's are for chavs. after all the work hes put into it doubt hes gonna change to a saxo now.
