Finished both doors today;

Finished cutting with the Holesaw - 30 holes cut on each door! 8)

Then fitted the other card, and refit the one I did yesterday;

Now I need to sort my dimmer switch for the Dash Lights - it broke internally and needs some 'adjustment' to get the dash to illuminate again... :lol:

Dash is staying in as it is, as I want to keep the heating/ventilation system as I do use it on the road every now and then - definitely wanting to keep the ventilation system now I have no opening windows or sunroof! :shock:

It'll be getting flocked though.... 8)

Haven't done much with this since the last update - I've been away from home on/off for the whole time since mid November...

But, still got things going on - hoping to have an X18XE1 in there by April, ready for Combe and the show season - I will have the money to do that very soon, unless I spend it on another of my plans

Going to be getting a new/replacement Cage for it, going over the front section of the Cabin - can't find any used ones and am slightly scared by the price for a new one - would need to spend another bloody week away from home to be able to just buy one without concern!

And got these this week - they have turned up at home and the person feeding my cat has put them all in the house for me whilst i'm away til Weds, which is annoying as now I just want to get them fitted! :lol:

Once I get home, I'll be getting into this again... :cool:

All the bits pictured above cost me about £130 all together

I know the Cage I want - £470 delivered - but then need to get the mounts welded in and painted, and then the cage would need paint or powdercoat as it comes as bare steel
It's not a massive amount, like i say, just 1 week working abroad will cover all of that and give me some change for beer and strippers.
It is just a large chunk to look at, the engine swap won't be costing me much more than that and I'll be seeing more for my money! :lol:

The cage isn't too bad - one of the cheaper ones!

The majority of my work is abroad - power station and petrochemical combustion equipment...
I ALWAYS keep some money aside for beer and strippers! :lol: 8)
