We reckon he was on his phone. He said he just come off mud so slippy. A witness who was behind him give me his number and told me he didn't brake. We all seem ok, have to go for a scan tomorrow but baby seems ok hospital said.

Glad ya both are mate but sounds like he was blagging cis he prob was on his phone but atleast someone was decent to stop and help ya aswell as being a witness which goes in ur favour if ya go thru insurance. Did the guy offer pay for the damage on ya car

Surprisingly not, if it was just me in the car, I may have considered it. He has a black box, will that tell wether he braked or not?

Dependant mate. Some are there just for driving at certain hours but some track speed and braking but the witness is on ur side so its in ur favour and he hit ur rear end so most of the time u wud win but considering he hit u i thort he wud ov been decent to offer repair ya car for ya

Got a text off his insurer saying:
Claim *********. Liability has been admitted by our customer for the recent accident. We at AGEAS would like to assist and will call you shortly to offer help.

If he was on his phone I would report him to the police
They will be be able to trace if he was or not it won't be a cheap repair as looking at the tail gate they will replace if the bumper might repair but again will be upto them
Pop round tomoz if you want and can have a look at it for you
But glad Kirsty and baby are ok

They say 60% of the cars value and they will use gen vaux parts
Can get a mate to do an estimate if you need one

Just spoke to the whitness. He said he was more Intrested in eating his sandwich, he had no mud on wheels and braked last second.
