how long drive did you go? my car has it when its cold but once out for a good run and checked its all gone haha, its cause the oil cap lets condensation in or something haha

not sure gonna take it to get looked at tomorrow

bad times head needs skimmed been told because its a 1.0 12v that it could be hard to do ...

so may be time for an engine up grade 2.0 redtops sounding nice

lol a 1L shouldn't be any difference to any other engine, you'l just need a slightly thicker head gasket to take up the bit of metal you had taken of when it was skimmed.

well i was told id need two heads to take up the gap a well 1.4 sri sounds nice :L redtop would be lovely ... but petrol prices and sourceing all parts ... 1.4 easier :L!

the reason he's saying itll be harder is cause its a timing chain not belt, but i dont think it should really do much difference, youd be better off getting another 1l engine for now mate tbh.

1.4 aint cheap too run either, mine drinks the fuel i only get 40-50 miles for £10. still go for a 1.4 thou if you want, they pretty nippy!
