my mate had a volvo v40 as his first car, wrote it off in about 1 1/2 months and he only drove every now and then.....like maybe couple handfull of times before he crashed it and snappped the wishbone and bent the front axel. no more car for him lol
still....i dont know saloons from a tank.....

I had a Volvo S80 T5 for a few weeks as a company loan car on an old job... Only had about 40 miles on the clock when I got my hands on it... When it went back to the company it had:

ECU and Service light on
Knocking sound from the engine
Blue smoke under acceleration
'Well Used' back seats
