I like the look of them but at the same time i don't if that makes sense.
I'm looking at one at the moment with bonnet vents aswell but it's own in London so a 3 and a half hour drive there and back again.
I'm picky with the things i buy.
They have to be just right for the car. Or right price.
LoLz I went on a mad trip down to worcester on friday got in from work at 5 sat down had dinner then at 6 i found these GSi wheels on ebay you know with the 3 double spoke, This guy was braking his GSi and selling bits so i offerd him £50 for wheels and he took it

lol,
bit like me the sunday before christmas.
Really wanted these retrimmed seats that were up in middlesborough. Set off around 10.30. took 3 and a half hours there, plus a stop. Then took around 5 hours back as big accident (involving a corsa b!! Roof ended up being chopped off!!!). Got back around 8.30ish.
Long day. Was knackered.
The things we do for our cars!!

Ahh yes, that strong colour contrast really sets the car alive! And is easier on the eye also

Hi Dan,
Nope haven't had a respray. Well i say i haven't
The front and rear bumpers have been as they were origionally red, and so has the drivers door (where broken in
) as this was red. Other than that though no it hasn't other than the bits i have been turning black!! (The spoiler was origionally black). Just alot of hard work and elbow grease. It's quite sad really when i get into a cleaning mood. I can spend all day washing and then polishing etc. When i first bought it the paint was really dull and you could see the origional car dealership decals on doors but hours of cleaning and polishing later they have gone! (well think they have!
) and it does give reflections now!!
It's not brilliant with some dings and dents and a couple of small rust spots i need to sort.
I'm going to leave you guessing on the colour of the skirts etc for a little longer.
Hopefully by the end of the week (maybe even today) i'll have finished drilling and pop riveting the brackets on so can put one of the skirts on for a quick photo. It isn't staying on yet though as only one side will be done. As i'm changing the front wing it seems pointless to drill and fit it, to then have to take it all back off and run the risk of damaging it or breaking clips. So they prob won't be on properly until the middle of May (My last Uni assignment in at start of May!)
All i'm going to say is it's going to look

A little update for you all.
Last few days my dad and i have been busy trying to get the GSI sideskirts sorted. After several hours of trying to line them up right to then drill the sills etc (to fit them like they would at the factory), we have managed to basically finish off one of the sideskirts. I have taken a few pictures so you can get an idea of what they will look like but it is well from being finished. We are going to leave drilling etc of the otherside until i have fitted my vented wing as the skirt attach to the wing. (No point doing the job twice and risk breaking or damaging something in the process). You also get a tast for the new alloys on the back! (Centre caps are missing at the moment as i am painting these at the moment!) Hopefully after MOT on Friday aslong as all ok, i'm going to try changing the front driver's hub. Hopefully that will sort the alloy problem out so can have a matching set of alloys!!
So i have attached the fittings but have taken the skirt back off for the time being. No point driving around with just one skirt.
OK first two pictures are of the brackets attached and all the art work all over the side of the car!! (Loads of pencil marks and measurements!!)
These two pictures are of the side skirts partly clipped into place (For these pictures) and show one in place and also all the masking tape used to get the measurements for where to drill! Shame about the green bumper still (My job of painting the other is coming along well though!)
This final picture is what the skirts will look like once all the masking tape etc has been removed. (Again shame about the green bumper!!
)
Let me know what you think of the colour scheme with them!!
