it doesnt take much for these to be made quicker than the corsa sport, even standard there aint alot in it..also the civic is a muccchh nicer car than a corsa lol, built soo much better and alot smoother and nicer to drive.

if you think the interior looks grannyfied..check out the type r interior lol

thing bout corsa sports is you need to have a good 1 and do it up rite. there either good or there not, wereas civics are the kings in the modifying world, wat do you think bout the new corsa vxr. personally i dont like them, a think the engine should of been a 2.0 ltr. ma corsa sport left 1 for dust the other day ahaha but only coz of the mods

problem is due to emmisions regulations these days which gets stricter and stricter every year
you tend to find all cars now are comming with smaller, greener engines
corsa vxr included, aswell as my ibiza fr.
if say for example, if vauxhall brought out a brand new a corsa vxr this year and it was was a 2liter, the tax that the manufactures have to pay would be stupidly high to offset the high emmisions, then the buyer would also have to pay more road tax as it pollutes more, this would increase the cost of the car hence
no body would buy it!

thats why you tend to find small hot hatches these days like my FR and the VXR corsa and even the 500 abarth
even volkswagen now have dropped the r32 in favor of the new r20 ( a TSI 2 liter rather than the 3.2 v6 )

sad but true, but i dont mind, it means new cars tend to come with alot of clever tech the DSG gearbox and a twincharging engine with VVT :D

with the emmisions dealership tax probably not,
the only 2.0 petrol vauxhall do now is the one in the new insignia, its not as powerfull as the 1.6 turbo from the vxr corsa, less economical,
(you cant even get a 2.0i astra apart from the vxr)
for a car the size of a corsa the dealership tax would be thru the roof with a 2.0i!

its true, but they also had quite a few reported problems with the 2.2 petrol engines including the fuel pumps that fail when your on the motorway. so you go from doing 70 to 25 limp home mode, dangerous!

ahh well as for the new vxr corsa i think its awesome, the looks and styling are just right imp.

best in white with the vaux flag graphics
