car failed its mot need the two sections of the hand brake cable, discs and need to weld my backbox on instead of poo putty and a stupid clamp

oh dear. mine failed to lol. i got an advisory for my handbrake cables though. but i cba. they can get done wen they break. weld ur backbox on? wtf kinda garage did u take it too. all i did was shove mine on and used a clamp and it was fine.

i think its just the way my exhaust is lol, its my brer in laws garage, they do mots, i put putty and all that on yesterday at work but it didnt seal so im just gonna weld it on, cba wi all the hassle again lol

got my car back at work, gonna weld exhaust up, check the whole system for leaks, strip front brakes down check them and if they need replaced il get that done, and order my cables in the morning, then leave it till monday to get it retested so i can get my dad to drive it up....

passed its mot on tuesday at back of 2 was sooo glad, passed emissions first time, brakes were fine after some heavy breaking thought i was gonna get put throught the window couple times but oh well lol, my hand brake is poo hot now its parked up in my drive for now, till i get my license and insurance and tax, but mot is out the way now cleaned the car, was tryin to t cut it but didnt have a decent cloth, cleaned inside, and need to hoover it today at some point

update.....

well its been a while lol

the car is all motd and has corsa sport interior in it.
only cost 20 pound for front and rear seats so i thought may aswell.
painted some of the engine parts white,
just no money to do anything the now.

still to do:

front and rear black doorcards.
cesaro alloys in white.
full gsi kit in glacier white.
smooth the wiper hole.
get a new steering wheel.(not sure what one to get yet)
give the underneth a lick of black hammerite.

might be gettin these alloys as there cheap enough, £30 pound to be exact, does anyone know if 195/60/15 will fit on corsa?

yea they'l fit mate, i saw those alloys on a corsa at pvs last year, but still they're cheap enough so you could always sell them on ebay again if you didnt want them and probably get more for them.

its just for the now cause steels suck! lol seen old white star wheel trims off the old novas for a tener from the same boy was thinkin about it but decided not to lol, might get them this week

there off an old nova, not sure what year though getting them off the same boy as the alloys they need a good clean but no bad for a tener lol
