you sure its the head gasket? because you do get mayo from just doing small journeys eg under 20minutes etc, clean the cap, and take it for a good half hour / 45 minute drive up a motorway or something, also your heater gauge would FLY of the gauge because you'v be getting low on water.

when i got the car i noticed the mayo a couple of days after, so i took it to a garage had some engine flush put through it and new oil and filter, it keeps coming back to the cap, i checked my water today and had lost about half a pint, it had a new radiator in feb so there cant be a leak. the temp gauge never goes above half way, it use to have a missfire on a start up when i got it so i give it a good blast and its gone now, i just dont want to spend big more money on it now

sorry i lied about the temp gauge, when i drove to stratford it did hit 3/4 of the way but the fan kicked in a brought it back down to 1/3, i spoke to someone at work to day and he said he had that mayo on his oilcap but it wasnt the head gasket he never found out what caused it

right to tackle the milky poo, so far i have found where the water is leaking and its a slight leak on the expansion tank, i cleaned out the 2 breathers, flushed the cooling system with (k SEAL) and it seems ok at the min, i just need to take the rocker cover of and clean it properly.
but apart from that, iv fitted the some mudflaps and got the drivers seat in. i was gona give the rust on the bonnet a blast this weekend but im in work so i cant.

NEW UPDATE, i got a couple of days off work so i thought i might start on the interior again. i brought some red leather look material and a load of paint. today i sprayed all the pillars, handles roof centre and sunfoof handle gloss black they come out really good with a light sanding and 2 coats of primer, paint and lacquer. i retrimmed the headliner in RED, (joint decision between my mum and girlfriend), but i do quite like it in a strange way, as for putting it back together i still need to fit the back pillars but it is lookin lets say unusual for now. i will post the finishing pics 2moz, also fitting my new smoked sid repeaters 2moro aswell
