i aren\'t going all the way to Bournmouth just to go to a meet . And i couldn\'t get to pvs thats the reason why i didn\'t go. i im preety certain im going next year, even though i don\'t know what exactly im doing june next year lol. trax is miles away aswell so i cant be arsed traveling there. get something sorted for donny andi ill go as thats not far from me

if you do something central then that will give everyone a fair chance. the corsa-c first national meet was at Derby.

When we hold a national meet it has to be central to the main people who will be attending. Corsa-B seems to get most of its members from the southern area attending meets (Apart from Brian)

So to have a meet up north where only one person from the northern region would turn up is a bit pointless and will discourage the majoirty of people wanting to attend.

If however, we do get a lot of interest from the north then we can move the location so its more central.

Unfortunately the meet can only be a success if people are prepared to travel, which is what the organisers have to guage and therefore choosing a location that is central to those who propose attending is vital

8)

PVS for example, the majoirty of members (25-30 cars) all travelled less than 150miles (with one or two exceptions (Brian from up north, Broster 14miles away)) So a location around the northampton area would be ideal

But as already said, we have to guage interest first

yeah northampton kicks arse! my ex used to go uni there
i do have to agree with what stuart_sri is saying.......because he threatened me, nah only kidding
there isnt as many northern members, i think the ones interested need to speak up (dont mean that in a harsh way) otherwise it\'ll be more south

theres plenty of us northeners that would be up for a meet, but the way things are goin everything seems to be orientated around the south, thats why no one from up here seems interested, i know its difficult to choose a location that suits every1, i for one would be there if there was a meet closer to home, i live all the way up in cumbria, so it would be atleast 200 miles just to get to the midlands! Thing with northern england is its pretty sparsely populated so everyone up here is further apart than the peeps from down south, makes things difficult!

tonee if we get enough interst from people up north, then we do our best to locate centrally around where memebers are coming from. Northampton is still a long drive for people down south, although i appreciate its further for you guys.

It all depends how far people are willing to travel on the day and as i have already said, we will arrange a location based on interest and as fair as we can possibly can.

With a national web site tho this is very difficult and not every1 will be happy if they have to travel further than others, but its hard to please every1

I wouldn\'t be interested in this, cause 2 15mins sessions is poor for the money, plus i prefer a nice quiet track day where you can spin off in to the gravle lots and not become a national tit for it
