I agree with above comment and just because ur friend has Honda and u have money, don't go making rash decisions, love your corsa and cherish it, it's not just for xmas lol :)

soon to be classics,,,,,
my old girl anyway 18yrs l - plate ,,, hondas are ok be fair guys but the matter of the fact is with £1,000 on a honda (induction kit ) and race pipe = 15-25 bhp spend a 1,000 on a corsa your gona have alot more fun and power well they might not look as good but when ur in ur corsa and you go flying by a £12,000 honda civic and they cant keep up that is the best fun ,,,,, keep the corsa drop in a c20let engine it will feel like a new toy ,,,,

keep up the good work ,,,,,

glad you guys like it :) i think i would have a lot more done to it if i had either stuck with keeping this or getting a new car, which is why its fairly basic atm.

i am tempted to lower it 50mm and get the wheels re-done and sprayed black though :) i got the SXI's for £50 from a mate and they are a bit scratched :P only thing holding me back from keeping this is the tiny lump under the bonnet. im at the stage where a 1.0i hasnt got the legs for me now after driving for just over a year....hence why i want a 1.4 or even better a 1.6.

So you been driving over a year wow, you an expert now lol, best build up no claims for another year, have more driving experiance with corsa, then change to honda, can only be your benefit in the end m8 that's my advice.

As explained above, power is nice but you need the ability to control it, wouldn't want you crashing into bridge at 50mph :(

im not an expert, i think everyone can admit that but a new car would be nice :P im a safe driver though, i doubt id be crashing into any bridges >.<

i dont think the insurance would be too bad, its fairly low in my area as i live out in the countryside :) i think a 1.4 civic is only group 5 which is only a slight increase :)

but i dont think i will rush into things just yet, im saving up for a few months so i dont think id be doing anything rash till april/may time

i've been thinking about getting my car lowered a bit as shes sitting a bit too high at the front . Ive found some lowering springs on ebay for £50, 60mm at front and 40mm at the back. just wanted to know if you guys think these would be okay to fit?

good stuff :) not sure if going more than 60mm would be best. its fairly low at the back as it is; id say theres a 40mm gap. i rarely have people in the back but i dont want to have problems with sleeping policeman :L
