Ive asked everyone around me the best I got was a little bit of rough sand paper haha so all that work on the bonnet you see is by hand

That's nearly all bare metal now anyway, not take long to take the rest off by hand

If your doing more Though you May be better getting a lend or renting a good sander
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

Dont give up :) im not sure but i think you might have to go through the shiny metal to the dull part underneath, not 100% sure though.

Dont tell me that haha ive scraped the metal theres nothing under the shiny bit. Its just time. And its boering. Bit of luck I may get it done if I can get out

Ahh your sound so i think on some you need to go under the shiney layer. I was trying to think how bonnet raisers would work too :/

I found some old plastic spacers and sum bolts from a unit I put together a while back. Its a pain to open the bonnent as it goes out of line but seems to have done the trick. Ill take pic and show you now
