Went and got a couple bargains today! A little tool box just for my screwdrivers and pliers and what not for the boot so they're not rolling about like usual, toolbox = £1 and a 40 piece socket set = £5

I'm wanting to take out my front and back seats later in order to give the car a full clean out, how easy is it to do this?

2 bolts at the back of the front seats then tilt forward and pull out, after putting the red fork in the seat belt tensioner. The back bench is just 2 small screws underneif. The back rests have a bolt on the side when you tilt forward and another under the plastic trim on the other side.

Ahh cool thanks! I'll see how it goes then, I understood all of that other than the red fork part aha

It's pretty simple. Take the plastic trim off next to the seat and it will have a sticker explaining. Basically push the red fork in the slot before removing the seat.

Ahh fair enough I'll have a go tomorrow hopefully! So I've seen a spoiler for sale at £10 it needs primer and paint and apparently has a few chips, but it's half an hour away, what do you all reckon?

Depends on condition really mate, if there very small chips some filler primer might do it but if it needs work it could cost 50-70 quid for a bodyshop to sort

They sell in good condition for about £30, Danny on thecorsa is selling an arden blue spoiler I think

Prepare for a picture overload!
So got to work on getting the seats out today to give the car a proper vac!
Image
Passenger side seat out! I only detached them from the runner as it seemed a bit easier aha
Image
Image
Recaro?! :O

Then I decided to take out the centre piece as it was really simple, and my god it was horrid around the gear stick!
Image
Image
Nice build up of tobacco and ash
Image

Drivers side seat was much harder to get out due to the height adjuster!
Image
Image
Image
More tobacco

And this was behind the rear bench, I couldn't get it all off as I didn't have the correct screwdriver
Image
Nice amount of dog hairs! Must be like 4 years old or more too these hairs!

Image
After a little brush and vac!

And now the clean car
Image
Image
Image

And then got it all back together
Image
I know that no one will really see the difference, but for my knowledge that it's all clean and that the slight smell of fags and dog may go now it makes me feel much better haha!

My little bit of decoration!
Image
I got all three of these for free!

Saw this in asda earlier, BEST UMBRELLA EVER!
Image

Ooh and good news! I got more pictures of that spoiler today, and I managed to haggle the price down to a fiver! Going to pick it up tomorrow! Plus it doesn't actually look all that bad

It won't be getting any spray for a couple months but it will eventually all be done by me, hopefully it'll turn out like my handles did, but knowing I have one ready is awesome!

Yeah! I'm now £5 lighter but I have myself a spoiler
Image

The condition is great tbh, just a few scratches and scrapes in the primer he previously put on

Epic win

Gave the car a good clean today! First one in a month!

Before:

Back to black makes a huuuuge difference!

After:

Ahh much better driving around a clean and fresh car!

Also PROBLEM SOLVED! My front bumper had a bit of movement in it due to it being all cracked and broke but a clip/screw was broke so I replaced it with a very professional item!
Image
Nailed it...

Any ideas on why the drivers side of my bonnet doesn't close correctly?
Image
The other side is aligned perfectly but this side is always like this, I can even push it down and it pops back up
