Did you reprogram the ecu to tell the engine the egr isn't there anymore otherwise it will always register that as a fault.
Personally I would replace the egr and if you replaced with a new cts this can only be a wiring problem as far as I'm concerned. I see no other reason it would give those two faults...
If it flashes it's an immob problem.
If it turns on for a bit then off for a bit etc and reads egr it usually is egr, I've never had a cts code but I can't think of anything wake that points to off the top of my head

Sorry one more thing. You need to try ckearing the eml before you go any further.
Assuming you don't have a laptop or scanner gear so try disconnecting your battery for ten or fifteen minutes and see if that can clear it.
It may be that it's still stuck in a limp mode from the fault

Ok, will disconect the battery for all night tomorrow. Will see. If it won't help, then will try a new EGR. Oh my corsa, trouble corsa ))).
Thank you for your reply.

Hopefully clearing the fault codes will help! I can't promise a new egr will help but I've always been told blanking the egr on a corsa b doesn't help it. On many other cars it actually makes the engine run better

Well. Bought a new CTS. And what I found out is that a month ago a mechanic put a new Gauge Sender, and not CTS I asked him! I attached picture of my new CTS and picture of gauge sender was installed.Deedee91 wrote:Hopefully clearing the fault codes will help! But now I'm struggling to find where CTS is located? My engine is X14SZ. I would change it myself and hopefully that will cure the problem.

I can't be 100% about this but I believe it's at the back of the engine to the left of the inlet manifold.
The sender the mechanic has already replaced is located there too, just slightly easier to get to.
If I'm right, it's a nightmare to get to might be best to have a look and see if you think you can get at it.

Remove your air filter box, the pipe running up to the throttle body and the large black plastic box that's sits on top of the throttle body.
This will make it easier for you to see what your looking for

Cts is under the s pipe from rad to the stat, it's one of the easier sensors to get at
Only a matter of screwing it out and screwing the new one in

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Just remembered you've an 8v so Deedee91 is right, it's a pig to get at down by the inlet mani to the left as you look in to the bay, it'll have a blue plug with 2 wires coming out of it

Hurray!!!!
My little old Corsa drives like a dream now!!!! This morning I changed the CTS. That stupid garage changed my gauge sensor instead of CTS. Now problem solved. And it cost me 8 quid from eBay!!! But couple of hundred quid wasted to garages . Shame. This forum is much more helpfull than 3 local garages I'd been at.
Thank you all of you gentlemen! Thank you so much

By the way, since I bought this Corsa, while I'm driving on Neutral, revs stay somewhere between 0.8 and 1. And as soon as I stop completely (at traffic lights, for example) revs go to 0.8. Is that normal or I'm worring for nothing?

Tick over for most corsa engines is 800 revs so I wouldn't be concerned by it.
If the revs drop that low that the car feels like it might stall then that would be a problem, having said that tho my old corsa engine would do that occasionally and I did 25k miles like that without it ever becoming a serious problem.
These engines always have little peculiar bugs hidden in them somewhere
