its all very intresting in what you are saying ...ctr arnt quick 4 of my mates have them at all different level of tune and yes they do go well but they not a quick car my 200sx destroys them and i mean really pisses all over them its only 310bhp and is about 1200kg ....a 2.0 redtop corsa runnig right with the right driver would beat a ctr ...my 2.2vti prelude had a few different ctr in its time and i remember recing a 2.0corsa and it beat me ...its was a red top with port polish 4 branch chip ram kit and exhaust ....

as for the evo its possible for it too beat it if the evos not a good one ...the eailer eveos are less bhp then the newer ones but they are still an awsome car ..but its still comes back to this evo is say 260 bhp but its 4wd system will eat up a good wee chunk of bhp ...thats the problem with 4wd systems ....its the same as subarus i cant count how many times people have talked utter cod poo too me about haw fast there uk spec subarus are then i rece them and but the time i stop wheel spinning ive caught them and passed them ...but i agree with soem points the 2.0 retop\'s arnt a a weapon but they are quick enuff to sort out a hell of a lot of cars out there ...but the real point of theres is it not to surprise ????

i beleive the ctr thing as i have crawled past one in my valver but the evo the corsa would have no chance , black smoke means nothing in the case of it not running right probs just running a little rich on fuel or jumping into a gear that is high in the revs rolling starts are cheating anyway

I just love the reliable power of the xe and the fact that you can get out of slip roads and up to speed a bit quicker

wudent the 2.0 turbo b more impressive ?? , i ask due 2 me thinkin bout putting 1 in mine ?!?!?!??

a 310bhp turbo 2ltr should distroy a ctr, my mate has a 260bhp s14a and that shows them the way home! thats a bit of a silly comment to make really IMO

Thats a XE striped out, full system, and cam but it isnt set up yet.

yeah thats the main reason i posted it because it supposed to be a 300bhp engine. (the topic was about, \'are xe engines fast\') I prefer the more subtle, lowkey look as i imagine you do too?
