pfft, standard engine power per engine size they're pretty much equal, the standard corsa is nearly 200kg lighter than any standard civic, so tbf i cant see why everyone loves civics? the hp to weight is slightly better on the civic but the torque to weight is won by vauxhall every time so tbf a corsa wins...
TURBO LAG IS JUST FOREPLAY

dan your on the wrong site mate, we love our corsa's. now a more serious note, just got back from a trip to pick up a chainsaw for work tomorro and had to limp the last 3 miles home. could only get 3 or 4 gear, got it home and had a look under the bonnet and from what i can tell in the dark the gear linkage has gone pop
so looks like thats next on the list to do.

Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts
tbf i dont think we will wonder why we spend so much on them, We spend that amount on them for a reason ( becoz we love them)

sorry guys but i have to agree with dan after a year of driving the corsa im going for civic ej9, my mate has one and it just soo much more better than the corsa IMO! until you drive one you cant really say a car is poo or no tbh. i drove a 57 skoda fabia at work and it was soo comfy and soo smooth lol same with the new minis there quick lol

all fixed now, cost me £12 and took me less than half an hour to sort. thats the beauty of corsa's

my civic weighs 950kg standard..and comes with either a 130bhp or 150bhp engine as standard..
well not a good day today, i'll let the pics do the talking.
im fine but the car doesnt look to clever, it still driver perfect and all the damage is cosmetic really. she kicked the arse out going round the corner and headed for a bridge so i counter steer'd and spun completely around to where she is in the pics and took out a fence and part of a stone wall. not alot i cud do about it but shout and swear, still cud have been worse..........
so the plans then, gona get a van in the next week or two, sell the mod's off the car and scrap it. dont worry though i will be attending pvs, just not in the corsa, but it will still be a vauxhall van lol
