cheers mate the roads around here are terrible so even if i just get it out for a day trip it gets covered in dirt, it spends most of its time in the shed clean and dry as i have my mk1 vw caddy for in the week. when its a bit warmer it needs a good pressure wash and de-tar on the lower half of the doors, but its too god damn cold for that just now.

your not joking mate mines black and a bitch to clean! i find myself cleaning mine 2/3 times a week, and i dont mean bucket n sponge jobby, im talking pressure wash etc etc! but gives me something to do and get good results at the end so not all bad lol
yea iv got a few lined up "looks at calender" not many vauxhall ones, only PVS and BILLING but yep should have a GSI kit on by then aswell i hope and a few patches re-sprayed on my car, the bonnet, rear drivers side pannel has a scrape, rear boot wiper rust, and want my door strips either taking off or spraying blue, also have a fish gilled drivers side arch but by the looks it'l end up having a whole body re-spray as it'l be easier

ah yea i just found the website, only need 5 cars to get a club stand, and if me, liam (bluecorsab), matty (matty101) go thats 3 so only need two more people and that would be a club stand which would be quite nice to have i'l have to talk to liam and matty about it
just noticed aswell its on at the same time as run to the sun - newquay, and drag racing at the santa pod but the car show would be a better way to spend those days

i made a aluminium bender at work this week as i got bored and it was easy to do, and i got some aluminium aswell so im going to have a go at making an engine bay divider wall to go between pipercross air filter and the engine bay / exhaust manifold, i'l show you what i mean 2moro if i manage to make it, and i'd like to have a go at making a spark plug cover aswell depending on how much aluminium i have left, and might even have enough left to use to make a mount for my oil catch tank, 2moro should be an intresting day
oh and i also got a small fuel powered space heater from work for free so my workshop can now become toasty and warm instead of freezing cold

just to say whats in the photo, you can see an aluminium spark plug cover that i made, just needs two holes drilling in it now to secure it on, and you can see the catch tank that iv installed, if it works i dont know lol but its there anyway and stopping my engine bay getting full of oil, and you can see the air filter to engine bay aluminium wall that i made and found some rubber edging and put it across the top and down the far side just so it wasnt sharp or cut the padded bonnet lining or the air inlet pipe.

get the spart plug cover ingraved with vauxhall or something would look sweet but over all nice idea and ur sparco strut spray it yellow hard to see in there

god i hate that side of owning cars the cleaning dirt off is awefull 
but the polishing and detailing i like 
where and when is that? i'l have to add it to my calender and the weekends are getting very full atm from all the shows iv got written down 
but the car show would be a better way to spend those days
