lil update. all arches and skirts now back on and got the cav slabs on. nova's will be goin back on after mot, few pics thou poor qualitys :lol: blackberrys!

thanks mate! yep so do i hahaa, im just using the nova alloys for winter and ill put slabs back on around april time :)

update time.. had my roll cage sitting in garage for about 3-4 months now so ive set about fitting it now.
first i welded in piece of angle iron i made into corner behind the front seats then i made plates and welded them onto the 2 legs of the roll cage drillied holes then i could bolt in the front 2 legs.

my grandad then made brackets to weld to the arches. took ages to make as wanted the curve on them to sit perfect onto the arch

then slight problem encountered is that cage is quite far from arch so it will need to be extended.

thats all for now, will be more updates after i finished the cage :)

well quite a big update, cage is now fully in place and looks good, will get some pics up later and also ive brought a c20xe aswell haha, needs work but no rush get it in, will be doing full rebuild etc... happy days

cheers mate, well not going to collect the engine til after xmas. although its got a pouros head so i will need to buy a cylinder head for it. but getting alot of stuff for £400 everything for conversion, 2L brakes, red silicone hoses etc.. heres a pic of it in his corsa, and for the cage i was told it was a omp cage when i brought it, but there nothing on the cage to say it is thou

got few pics of roll cage now and also removed head
here's brackets i made for roll cage and can see where ive had to extend it too

valve seals needed doing. and also was running on 2 and kept cutting out thou i think that is coilpack. also be easier to get that plastic pipe round back of engine for standard inlet now :)
