if you aint gona be rally style anymore then you defo need to lose the bonnet

naaa adds to mean/track slag look..i dont think the pics do it justice..coz if u see it in real life its lush lol..but then something like that is never gonna be to everyones tastes.

I like rally cars...when they look good not like wanna be tack bags

right..hopefully over the next month or so my corsa is gonna be transformed as il slowly be getting aload of stuff-all very cheap as well..heres a list of the things il be gettind and the prices...

white rev gauge dials with blue led's,supplied and fitted-£20
set of black and blue reclining corbeau bucket seats-£30(just needs the mountss)
3.5in bore jap style exhaust,supplied and fitted-£40
black door cards and trays + white mirrors(from mobiius)-£35
bumpers and arches colour coded-£60
wheels done in white-£60

then will sort out finding a steering wheel i like..and then thats about it once the sound systems sorted.

why dont you just go for a well modded car look?

Trying to be something its not isnt a good thing. I have never seen a rally or track car with an F50 bonnet on it....ever. Normally, they barely look modded, because if you hit something or someone, then the standard parts are cheap and easy to replace when broken.

i just think you need to take a step back, have a look at this and think about what you are gonna do. It just needs tidying up.

Spend some time undersealing. Take the front bumper off, and i bet the front crossmember is rusting. Buzz it down with a wirebrush attachment on a drill and stonechip and waxoyl it. Then go over various bits and make it a good base. The car being off the road is a major advantage, as you can get jobs that take a couple of days to do, and difficult when the car is on the road and you are using it, done.

Bolting stupid shouty stuff to it does nothing but create the late 90's "wtf is that!?" look. I respect its your car, but im just wanted to say that certain 'looks' dont work, unless thats what it IS gonna do.

thanks for the advice..i agree it wasnt really in keeping with the rally look so iv scrapped that idea..going for a more track/mean style..im losing the blue mudflaps and going for eiva black or white ones so they dont stand out so much..gonna lower it at the front to give it a mean stance..goin for an espace splitter rather than a laguna one(little tip alot of people dont know about these-they lower than the laguna ones and look better)..plus i have plans for racing decals..basically its in my head how i want it to be,just gonna have to trust me that it is gonna look nice once finished lol.

right..ent been on in a while..but cars changed a fair bit now..and has been to a few meets already..once iv sorted out uploadin pics from my phone il add loads but heres a a pic done by a proper photographer..and hopefully i should be in max power somewhere next month lol
