Hi mate, going back to something you did a while ago- how tricky was the steering wheel change to do? My car is completely standard (I'm not that big on mods tbh), but I hate the 2 spoke steering wheel, which I assume is what yours had...
What tools do you need and how do you go about the horn button wiring? my guess is that the wire has to be split or something, given that there are 2 buttons on the 3 spoke but only 1 central button on the 2 spoke.
My 2 spoke wheel isn't quite centred either so it'd give me a good excuse to sort that if I changed the wheel over!
Cheers.

thats simple, on the non air bag wheels the horn just pulls off, that reveals a large nut and you un-do the large nut and put your feet on the dash and pull like f**k, and the horn is just setup by two metal plates rubbing against each other, and then its just put your new wheel on and replace the nut etc

harvey bugger off i took photos and gone into more depth :L
u r very lucky that wen i read this i was up at the workshop and so cud take some pics of the steering wheel apart
yes mine was the normal bog standard 2 spoke wheel with the horn as the big centre cap.
to get the steering wheel off i undid the nut and left on a few threads so that the nut wouldnt come off. for the 1st 10 minutes i put my seat back and my feet either side of the clocks by the air vents and tugged like f**k on the wheel.
then that gave me a headache so thought ahhh i no ill use dads hydraulic pullers
so i got them out and put the 2 prongs behind the steering wheel on the circular rubber bit around the back of the wheel nearest the key and immobiliser etc
it ripped the rubber slightly but it popped it off a treat
then with the new steering wheel i pushed the steering wheel onon the right splines. then with the wiring i totally got rid of the earth wire coming from behind the dash somewhere. cant quite rmemeber
then with the red positive wire i scotch locked it onto the white and brown wire and then taped it up where the old joiner/connector was at the end of the red wire.
then with the earth/neutral wire i made myself a bit of wire with a circular connector on the end big enough to go over the shaft of the steering rack where the nut tightens on and scotch locked the other end onto the solid brown wire on the steering wheel
then i tightened the nut up with the connector just behind it and voila
the nut is 22mm and the torx screws on the back of the new steering wheel which hold the airbag bit on r T30
cheers
